Through education, the key to development, LWDGC works to create a world where dignity is guaranteed for all people. We work to assure that everyone has the right to education, especially children, the future of humanity.

 At LWDGC we are deeply concerned about the enormous waste of human potential in our world today. Many individuals are benefiting from endless advances in human knowledge, yet many others continue to fall behind. We should all be concerned about the growing threats to international peace, stability and prosperity due to rampant inequality in an increasingly interdependent world. We can not build a strong global future upon this kind of foundation.

There is an urgent need for sustainable solutions.

Through this special International Fund raising Campaign, we are appealing to our many donors, sponsors, and various supporters around the world to help us build a better future. Investing in education and other training brings many positive returns: a stronger foundation for tomorrow's peace. More reliable stability and security. Greater social justice. Better prospects for shared prosperity.

For many of us at LWDGC, the proud and happy smile on the face of a young girl returning home from her first day of school is often reward enough.
